Our bloated government needs to be pruned drastically.
"There were 87,504 governmental units in the United States as of June 1997.
With 1.9 million civilian workers (including DOD civilians) and 1.4 million uniformed personnel, the federal government is the largest single employer in the United States (Source: White House 2008 budget numbers and OSD).
Almost "2 million" government workers is an obscene number. We need to take an axe to this number and reducing most Federal workers to a 20 hour work week... this would be cruel, but it is needed to prevent the continued bankruptcy of our nation.
